• 5.0 out of 5 stars from jmikew -- Charting the End Times Book : I have owned this book since it was originally published. I bought this copy as a Christmas present this year. If you want to understand the flow of end time events in plan language this is the book for you. It strips away allegory or spiritualising that many add in to the Bible (which makes it confusing and conflicting) and takes the Bible in its plan meaning -- the result is it makes the flow of end time events very understandable and clear. I'm not talking about being able to totally understand every little detail, but rather you will clearly be able to see the over all flow, the results and the purpose. This book distills the prophecies into a coherent narrative. He backs up his writing with good references in all the prophecies. Concise, it sticks to the subject matter. I have studied the chart in the front of the book for over an hour. It really helps the brain to visualize as best as one can, the End Times events. I am not an advanced scholar but have seen easier to understand timelines by Irvin Baxter on "End of the Age". Perhaps if i did a deep dive into LaHaye's book to support it, I might find it more valuable. Assuming that the problem might be with me, that is why i gave it 3 stars.
