It reminded us of memories we’d made doing some of the fun things in the book and they came up with new ideas of things that sound fun to them that we can do together. The book is full of beautiful illustrations and shows a diversity of children. Annie brings so much joy through her podcast, writing, and speaking and I’m so glad we are able to share her gift of finding and creating fun with the next generation. My family read it together last night (8 year old daughter and 3 year old son) and they loved all the pictures and finding all the things that were listed to find. The story truly touched my heart as a mom in how we teach our children that what may be fun for us may look different for someone else. When we finished the book, my daughter went around and asked each of us what sounds fun to you. IT WAS MAGICAL AND WONDERFUL to hear how different all of our replies were and also it gave us a little insight into our own kiddos. BUY THIS BOOK and share it with family and friends. - 5.0 out of 5 stars from Jennifer Wagner -- Exactly What My Kiddos Needed! : I grabbed this book as soon as it was available and when my kids got home from school they were beyond excited to see it! Later that night we all snuggled into bed and read the pages together. My two kiddos are as different from one another as night and day but I was fascinated to find that BOTH of them (ages 5 and 9) were completely engaged from start to finish! The pages are vibrant and interactive, and the ideas for leaning into FUN were endless! I feel so very blessed to have this resource to drive the importance of living a fun and joyful life for my sweet kiddos. Can't wait to read it again and again!! Birdsall -- Love everything by Annie Downs! : I’m a huge fan of everything Annie Downs does so even though I don’t have little kids or a little kid to give this book to, I bought one. Actually I bought two by accident and I’m not upset about it! Annie is a former teacher and you can tell how much she loves little kids. This would make a great gift for your little friends. Having read many of Annie’s books myself, I knew this would be a must have. After it arrived I read through it myself and it brought tears to my eyes!
